How ERC Buyouts Work - Step by Step
Example assumes client has an ERC claim for a total of $100,000.
Step 1 - Client submits the full package to BBY Capital
Step 2 - Once received we will send the client a fee agreement to sign – once executed we begin processing
Step 3 - Once processing is complete we move to underwriting
Step 4 - Underwriting does their due diligence and fully vets the file
Step 5 - Client receives a funding offer once deal has been approved by underwriting (this is the biggest variable in time)
Step 6 – Client accepts or rejects the offer. If client accepts we draft the contracts for review
Step 7 – If there are no documentation issues we move to fund.
Step 8 – After funding – Client pays BBY Capital performance fee.
Step 9 – Invest your ERC Buyout funds back in your business.

IMPORTANT: To qualify for an ERC buyout or a loan you must be able to show proof of your ERC eligibility. The lender will require a detailed review of the ERC calculations that were made - sometimes they will want a licensed CPA to approve your file before they fund it. If you have a CPA legal opinion letter or an eligibility report for your ERC claim, your file will be expedited. Ask your ERC preparer to provide this if you don't currently have one.
